In May 2018 CCB will be off to Ashburnham Place near Battle in East Sussex for another FANTASTIC weekend away. In 2016 we had 160 people of all ages book-in for all or part of the weekend and this year we can take a few more!
It’s a weekend for the whole family with sessions for all ages. Our speaker for the main events is Nicholas Henshall who is the Dean of Chelmsford Cathedral. Nicholas is a tremendously gifted and inspirational speaker and is highly recommended by all who attended the CCB Quiet Day in 2015. Nick has a wealth of experience in ministry which spans the hardship of inner city parish life in Newcastle Upon Tyne through to the prosperity of Yorkshire’s well healed Harrogate. He has worked in radio broadcasting and served on the staff of two Cathedrals as well as fulfilling the role of Acting Archdeacon of Richmond.
He is well know for his depth of spirituality, his tremendous humour and enthusiasm and his love of the gospel. He is a theological teacher who makes theology truly accessible to all.
There will be a full programme for our children and young people. Our Youth Minister, Ed, will be there to lead the work with our teenagers and young adults and there will be others laying on an activity and teaching programme for the younger ones. There is even a quiet space for those revising for exams.
Have a look at the video above to get an idea of the place and download the programme below to find out more.
